Irregular, heavy, or painful periods can significantly impact daily life. We offer thorough assessments to identify underlying causes such as hormonal imbalances, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fibroids, or endometriosis.
Pelvic pain may arise from a variety of causes, from pelvic inflammatory disease to adhesions from previous surgery. We use a variety of methods to identify the source of your pain and support your physical and emotional wellbeing.
Severe PMS or PMDD can affect your mood, energy levels, and overall quality of life. We assess your hormonal health and lifestyle factors to provide medical support, nutritional advice, and stress-management strategies to alleviate your symptoms.
Prolapse occurs when pelvic floor muscles weaken and organs like the bladder, uterus, or rectum shift positions. We offer a range of treatment options to promote early intervention that improves comfort and halts further progression.
Recovering from childbirth can be physically and emotionally challenging – particularly after a difficult delivery. We provide postpartum care to new mothers, and provide support to manage pain, injuries, and return to daily activities.
From hot flushes to bone loss, menopause can be both physically and emotionally challenging. We can provide hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options to help you move through this stage of life and beyond.
A cancer diagnosis or conditions such as endometriosis and fibroids require a sensitive and person-led approach. We work with your medical team to provide complementary care to help you maintain strength, independence, and quality of life.
We provide tailored women’s health services for workplaces, supporting your staff through issues such as menopause, menstrual health, and postpartum recovery, so you can foster a supportive and productive working environment.
How It Works
Book your appointment.
You can book your private gynaecology appointment online, or by calling our team during opening hours. We may get in touch with follow-up questions prior to your appointment.
Attend Consultation.
Your first appointment is a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, and concerns. Examinations are only performed if needed, with a focus on your privacy.
Treatment Plan.
After further testing (if required), we diagnose your issue and create an evidence-based care plan – explaining everything clearly so you can take control of your health.
Ongoing Support.
If needed, our team will book you in for follow-up appointments, so we can provide continuity of care and continue to support your long-term health planning.
Gynaecology is the study of the female reproductive system.
The majority of women will experience gynaecological problems at some point in life. Speaking to a gynaecologist can help with the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of disorders and diseases. Gynaecologists can also provide support before, during, and after pregnancy.
Regular gynaecology appointments help women to maintain good levels of health throughout every stage of life.
Seeing a gynaecologist on an annual basis can help to proactively spot abnormalities, diagnose conditions early, and prevent more serious health issues down the line.
If you experience any of the following symptoms, we recommend booking an appointment with a gynaecologist as soon as possible:
Changes in your menstrual cycle
Abnormal vaginal bleeding
Pelvic pain or discomfort
Unusual discharge or odour
Pain or discomfort during sex
In most cases, you can self-refer for a gynaecology appointment. You can book your appointment with us online, or by calling our friendly team during opening hours.
During your appointment, your consultant gynaecologist will take the time to speak to you about your symptoms and medical history, including any family history of similar symptoms or gynecological conditions.
An examination may be performed, but only if necessary. If an examination is required, we will prioritise your privacy and comfort throughout the experience.
After your appointment, your gynaecologist will create a report summarising your discussion within 48 hours, alongside recommendations for your next steps. If further diagnostic testing or treatment is required, your options will be explained to you in detail during your consultation.
Absolutely! We understand that gynaecology appointments can feel uncomfortable, so you are welcome to bring a friend or family member to your consultation.
