When you have concerns about your health, it’s natural to have questions. If you’re thinking about booking a private scan or specialist private medical consultation, we are on hand to help.

Lanarkshire Private Clinic is located in a purpose-built location at the Hamilton Community Football Stadium.
We are 5 minutes from the M74 motorway and within easy reach of both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Hamilton West Train Station is a short distance away.
We have ample parking spaces on-site, and they are free to use for visitors.
It depends on the service you are interested in, but we often have same-day or next-day appointments available.
After booking your appointment, you will receive an email confirming your details. Our friendly patient support team will also give you a call to collect some extra information and, if required, ask some questions to ensure the scan you’ve booked is safe for you.
You can pay for your appointment directly when booking online. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
Those who wish to spread the cost of their treatment have the option to pay with Klarna.
Yes! We accept health insurance from all major UK providers - we just ask that you obtain pre-authorisation before booking your appointment.
It depends on the service you require. Our diagnostic testing services start at £119, and private GP and specialist consultations start at £150.
Every diagnostic scan has its own preparation requirements. For most consultations, no special preparation is needed.
Our patient support team will call you prior to your appointment, so you know exactly what is required and what to expect.
Self-referrals are available for all ultrasound scans, DEXA bone density scans, and limb and joint MRI scans. All X-Rays, DEXA body composition scans, and other types of MRI scans require a referral from your own GP or our referral service.
If you have self referred you will receive a digital copy of your scan results within 48 hours of your appointment. We will also send this to your referrer, so you can make a proactive plan for your health moving forward.
We send out scan results via email to both you and your referrer.
If further testing or diagnostics are needed, our team will get in touch to book your follow-up appointments. We have an in-house multidisciplinary team to provide fast scan access and continuity of care.
If you are unhappy with the service you received at Lanarkshire Private Clinic, we want to know what we can do to help. We will talk to you to find out if the problem can be resolved easily, or one that needs a more formal investigation and response.
